Retail Sales Merchandiser


Job Summary:
As a Retail Sales Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in driving sales and enhancing the visual appeal of products in a retail environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that products are strategically displayed, organized, and stocked to attract and engage customers. You will collaborate with store managers, sales teams, and vendors to optimize product placement, implement promotional activities, and maintain an appealing shopping experience. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for merchandising are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Product Presentation and Merchandising:
- Create visually appealing product displays and arrange merchandise according to company guidelines.
- Ensure proper product placement and highlight key features to maximize customer interest.
- Implement effective signage, pricing, and promotional materials for product displays.
- Regularly inspect displays and make necessary adjustments to maintain a neat and organized appearance.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels and replenish products to ensure adequate supply and prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to track product deliveries, returns, and exchanges.
- Conduct regular stock audits and provide accurate reports on inventory levels, sales trends, and product performance.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and propose strategies to mitigate stock-related issues.
Sales Support and Customer Service:
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer preferences and market trends.
- Provide product knowledge and guidance to customers, addressing inquiries and assisting with purchasing decisions.
- Support sales initiatives, such as product demonstrations, promotions, and sales events.
- Build strong relationships with store staff and management to communicate merchandising strategies and objectives effectively.
Visual Merchandising Planning:
- Participate in the planning and execution of seasonal or thematic displays and promotions.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize visual merchandising strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to drive innovation in merchandising techniques.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align merchandising activities with overall brand messaging and promotional campaigns.
Store Operations and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Perform regular store visits to assess compliance, provide training, and offer guidance to store staff.
- Collaborate with store managers to address any merchandising-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in retail merchandising, visual display, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Requirements:
• Provide excellent customer service

• Stocking and restocking shelves with merchandise

• Complies with safe money-handling procedures and secure transaction practices
• Fills fuel tanks of motor vehicles or approved portable containers with gasoline or diesel fuel to the level specified by the customer
• Adheres to Federal, State, and local regulations with safety, environmental, and maintenance standards
• Ensures outside dispenser area is in a clean and organized manner; collects trash from receptacles and cleans dispenser area as needed
• Integrates Health, Environmental, and Safety (HES) into daily job performance and assists in maintaining a safe environment for customers, employees, and self
• Follows and complies with all health, sanitation, and safe work practices and procedures for handling gas and complies with all Company policies and procedures
• Helps ensure equipment is operating correctly. Communicates to Management when maintenance is needed
• Responds quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees, and notifies the appropriate individuals accordingly
• Completes other duties as assigned by Management
• Ability to perform repeated bending, kneeling, twisting, and overhead reaching
• Ability to work in intermittent temperature, e.g., outside at the pumps
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift between 5 to 20 pounds '

Hotel Housekeeping Attendants

The Quality Hotel and Suites are seeking efficient housekeeping staff preferably with some experience. Housekeeping is responsible for upholding the Hotel’s cleanliness standards of all guest rooms and common areas located in the hotel. Ideal candidates are dependable, take pride in their work, and work well with others. Housekeeping Responsibilities - Primary Duties
 Cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure; assure all rooms are up to ‘Choice’ company standards
 Making beds
 Replacing dirty linens and towels
 Dusting, polishing and disinfecting
 Cleaning upholstery
 Cleaning microwave, refrigerators, and coffee pot areas
 Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
 Cleaning showers, shower doors/curtains, toilets and sinks
 Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces
 Restocking guestroom amenities, like toiletries, drinking glasses and notepads
 Removing garbage, recycling, and room service trays
 Organizing and stocking housekeeping carts
 Complete all daily room assignments
 Deep cleaning when necessary
 Clean and maintain common areas, stairwells, etc. for cleanliness
 Sanitizing and clean all restrooms
 Positively represent and promote the property
 Ensure guestrooms are not missing anything (linens, towels, hairdryers, irons, etc.)
 Report any missing items, damage or smoking to manager and/or front desk
 Notify maintenance dept. of broken appliances, damage, burnt out light bulbs, etc.
 Upholding hotel confidentiality and security standards
 Inform Executive Housekeeper, Inspector or Front Desk when rooms are ready to be occupied by next guest
 Reporting all lost and found items
 Respecting “do not disturb” signs and the guests privacy
 Assist guests with any questions pertaining to hotel services and policies; assist guests when possible
 Review and execute daily duties assigned by manager or requested by Hotel Administration .
